What Clients Say
"The kitchen layout Scott suggested opened the whole room up — it flows into the living area now and the bench space is exactly what we needed. The cabinetry finish is beautiful."
"We were dreading the disruption but Scott staged the bathroom work so we could keep using the house. The heated floor and walk-in shower are worth every cent."
Renovation FAQs
How long will my renovation take?
It depends on scope. A bathroom typically takes 3-4 weeks, a kitchen 4-6 weeks, and extensions 8-16 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline before you commit.
Can I stay in my home during the renovation?
Usually yes. We plan the work to minimise disruption — temporary kitchen setups for kitchen renovations, staged bathroom work where possible. We will discuss this during planning.
Do I need a building consent?
Kitchens and bathrooms typically do not need consent unless structural changes are involved. Extensions and significant structural work will require consent — we handle the application process.
What happens when you find hidden problems?
It happens — especially in older Kapiti homes. We document and photograph any issues found, discuss options and costs with you before proceeding, and never do undiscussed work.
Do you provide fixed-price quotes?
Yes. Our quotes cover the agreed scope in full. If additional work is discovered, we discuss it with you and provide a variation quote before proceeding.
